What happens when you forget your camera battery 45 minutes away? The same thing as last time. Not terrible for a smartphone, Pixel 4 coming in clutch.

I always love traveling Europe, but Lisbon is, by far, one of the most beautiful capitals in the world that I’ve visited. The hilly city seems to contradict typical coastal urban areas. Coupled with its incredible history, it is definitely one of my top 5 to visit (at least thus far…)

All photos were taken with my Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. Some equipment upgrades are definitely to come!

Note to self: don’t hike in that much humidity. Second note to self: don’t forget your camera at home if you’re going to do something stupid like hike in high humidity.

I managed to forget my camera, so these were shot with my Pixel 3. Despite that, a few shots came out okay so here you go.

My recent trip out to Burgess Falls, TN and my first trip out with my new Sigma 17-55mm f/2.8. The lens performed flawlessly, despite my best attempts to smash it by tripping on the way down to the falls.

The trails were not maintained at all, and there was really only one good view but… trains!
